EPL: Manchester United make new appointments

Ahead of the new Premier League 2025/36 season, Manchester United on Wednesday made two senior appointments to vital areas of the Red Devils’ leadership.

Man United gave Kirstin Furber and Mike Sansoni new appointments at Old Trafford.

The Premier League club appointed Furber as people director of the club to  lead in developing and evolving the club’s workforce and people culture, while Sansoni was appointed as director of data, after over a decade  with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team.

Sansoni will be reporting to Omar Berrada, the club’s chief executive.

DAILY POST reports that Man United are keen to bolster the club in all areas after their disappointing 2024/25 campaign.

Ruben Amorim’s side failed to win any major trophy last season and also finished in the second half of the English top-flight league table.

They also lost the UEFA Europa League final to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
