Transfer: Chelsea negotiate Felix, Hato, Xavi deals as Barça conclude signing of players

Chelsea have continued their active talks in the background for both Ajax’s Jorrel Hato and Leipzig’s Xavi Simons.
Both players are very keen on a Chelsea move, with Hato already agreeing on personal terms and Xavi’s deal advanced.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that club-to-club talks with Leipzig and Ajax are ongoing regarding the transfer fee.
Also, negotiations between Benfica and Chelsea for João Félix are continuing.
The player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, maintains an excellent relationship with both sides, according to Romano.
Benfica are open to negotiating a permanent deal based on Chelsea’s requests, and João Félix is said to be keen on the move.
Meanwhile, Barça have concluded their business in the 2025 summer transfer window and have left the market.
Barça president Joan Laporta told Mundo Deportivo: “In principle, there will be no more new signings this summer.
“We have a good squad, and the coach wants to strengthen the first team with players from the reserves… so we don’t expect new deals at the moment.”
