Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique has insisted that he is not a loser.
Erinque spoke at his post-match interview after Chelsea defeated PSG 3-0 in the Club World Cup final on Sunday.
The Spaniard watched as goals from Cole Palmer (two) and a goal from Joao Felix gave Enzo Maresca’s side the victory.
Reacting, Erinque said, “Loser? I’m not a loser. I’m a runner-up.
“There are no losers in top level football. A loser is someone who doesn’t wake up from his bed,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Erinque led PSG to win the UEFA Champions League, French Ligue 1 title and the French Cup last season.
The Parisians will now turn their attention to the UEFA Super Cup final where they will face Tottenham Hotspur on August 13.
