Senator Ireti, however, said she is yet to collect the membership card of the ADC.
The lawmaker representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Senator Ireti Kingibe has thrown her support behind the coalition of opposition leaders.
She made this known shortly after a meeting with the 37 chairmen of the party in Abuja, said she is totally committed to the African Democratic Party, ADC.
ADC is the party recently adopted by the opposition leaders to contest the 2027 elections across the country.
Senator Ireti, however, said she is yet to collect the membership card of the ADC.
“As a senator, I am fully committed to ADC. However, as the Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, I don’t expect you to just hand me a card”.
The 37 chairmen from different states and the FCT also pledged their commitment to the David Mark-led leadership of the party.
